The unit benefits from a non-ferrous reusable stainless steel mesh filter, meaning no replacement filter cartridge costs are required post-purchase. Antibacterial filtration is not required because simply adding CORE biocide to the system treats the entire system. The easy-to-assemble unit only contains 1 magnet (2 magnets in the XL model), making it simple and easy to clean while still capturing passing ferrous contamination.
