Smith Brothers Stores Newcastle

Smith Brothers Stores Newcastle opened its doors in 2018 as part of the group’s continued nationwide expansion, establishing a major logistics and distribution hub for the North East. Operating from a purpose-built 22,000+ sq ft facility within The Avenues at Team Valley Trading Estate, the branch is strategically positioned with immediate access to the A1(M), enabling fast and efficient regional distribution while avoiding congestion through central Newcastle.

Designed to support high-volume commercial stockholding, the depot serves as a key supply centre for contractors and mechanical services professionals across Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, and Teesside. Its extensive on-site inventory provides rapid access to HVAC, mechanical building services, and commercial pipework products, helping contractors reduce lead times and keep projects progressing efficiently.

Built around speed, accessibility, and operational efficiency, the site features a responsive trade counter alongside extensive heavy-yard access to support quick collections and streamlined vehicle movement. Combining strong logistical positioning with dependable trade support and direct-to-site delivery capabilities, SBS Newcastle plays a vital role in supporting commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the North East.
