Smith Brothers Stores Oldham

Smith Brothers Stores Oldham was established in 2006 as the fourth depot in the group’s national network, representing a key milestone in the company’s expansion across the North West.

To accommodate significant regional growth, the branch relocated in January 2019 from its original Coulton Close premises to a substantially larger, purpose-built 40,000 sq ft facility at Vulcan Business Park. The expansion enabled the depot to develop one of the largest local stock profiles within the SBS network, strengthening material availability and logistics support throughout Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and the wider North West.

The branch supplies mechanical contractors, district heating providers, and HVAC engineers with high-volume, rapid-turnaround distribution of industrial pipework, commercial valves, and air conditioning systems. Designed to support the demanding timelines of major commercial and industrial engineering projects, SBS Oldham plays a vital role in maintaining supply resilience across Northern England.
